HSC Covid-19 Incident Management Team Situation Report May 8, 2020 4:10 pm  

Updates will be provided on this website by the Unified Command daily on the weekend. Wyoming laboratory confirmed cases are 490, Wyoming probable cases are 154, there have been 7 COVID-19 related deaths in Wyoming.

The variance for Places of Worship was approved by the state and arrived back in HSC late afternoon on Wednesday. It can be viewed below. Contact your place of Worship to see what their plans might be.

The restaurant variance for Hot Springs County has been approved by the state. Restaurants will be posting when they will be ready for you to dine again, so check with them before you go. This is the latest edition below in downloads.

If you are having COVID-19 like symptoms and are uninsured, COVID-19 testing and the office visit costs will be covered under the Federal Cares Act.  Please call your healthcare provider before arriving at the clinic. According to the CDC a wide range of COVID-19 symptoms include: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell. These symptoms range from mild symptoms to severe illness. These symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. 

Hot Springs County test results to date include: 

  • 44 tests completed 
  • 2 positive test results 
  • 2 probable cases 
  • 1 recovered (results unavailable for Washakie resident)
  • 42 negative test results
  • 1 pending results
  • 51 individuals asked to isolate at home
